At DanZ, we sell the majority of our spas throughout the summers months. This is natural as hot tubs are are usually located in gardens and most people will spend more time in their gardens in the summer than in the winter. However, once you have had your spa delivered you will quickly discover that summer is actually the worst time to use a hot tub!
Why? Well, there are a number of reasons but most importantly is the heat. In summer we experience sweltering temperatures as high as 25-30 degrees in summer, do you really think you are going to want to come home and then put yourself into a hot tub which is even hotter? Of course not! In summer you want to cool down, not heat up!
Have you ever had a really hot bath and then noticed that when you exit that bath, even if the temperature in the house is freezing you confidently feel as though you could walk through the house with few cloths on? Well hot tubs have the same effect. The warm water heats up your inner body so when you exit the spa, even if it is snowing outside you will happily walk through your garden in just a robe.
Another important reason that we would encourage you to order your spa in winter this year is because the government will be increasing the rate of VAT to 20% as of next year. If you wait until next year to order, your spa could cost hundreds of pounds more!
If you have any questions about the best times to use hot tubs, feel free to give us a call on the telephone number above.
